As long as I can remember, I always loved miniature objects but it was in 1996
during a trip to Europe that I discovered THE world of miniatures.  From that very moment, I concentrated
my time towards the fabrication of unique miniature roomboxes, which are entirely handcrafted and
I showcase my creations by participating in different art exhibitions.  My training in interior design helps me to
convert and decorate my roomboxes with taste and style even in the tiniest scale.

A few years later, since I was already making all of my accessories for my roomboxes,
I decided to mainly go towards the fabrication of miniature accessories.  It is during that time that I started to
participate to miniature shows in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, etc.

During all of this time, the thought of opening my own shop was brewing in my mind and with my husband's help
and support, I decided to go into business on September 17, 2009 by opening a shop called Les Ateliers MenuArt,
in St-Hyacinthe, Quebec.  My shop is entirely dedicated to dollhouses and miniature accessories. 
Unfortunately, misfortune quickly came around the corner as on October 17, 2009, a violent fire destroyed many
businesses and apartments in downtown St-Hyacinthe.  One of those businesses was mine.  After drying my tears
and pulling up my sleeves (and those of my husband's), my shop saw the light of day once more on December 4, 2009
in a new location.

In May 2012, I had the great pleasure of being awarded the title of Artisan in the category of Accessories/Masks
by the International Guild of Miniature Artisans.  This title recognizes the highest quality of workmanship within
the Artisan's creations.  There are roughly a dozen or so Canadian miniature Artisans who have received such a recognition.

One day, I hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you to my shop which already possesses quite a story.
